Is 2022 too late to start blogging?

At the peak of the COVID-19 lockdown in spring of 2020, I found myself with a fresh graduate degree from Boise State University, no job, and very few prospects; so I set a new goal for myself: hike every trail I could that was within day trip driving distance of Boise. Almost two years and approximately 1,000 miles of hiking later, I wanted to share my experiences through a more pointed medium than AllTrails reviews or Instagram posts. So here we are: the Exploring Boise’s Wilderness Blog.

I’ll be sharing trail reviews, photos, driving and hiking routes, flora and fauna, and any other information I find useful or interesting along the way. I hope that those reading this are inspired to go out hiking and exploring both the hidden gems and well-documented natural beauty around Boise too.
